Can I stay at the same hotel in Rome if I come early or stay after the group trip wraps up?

Yes! You are welcome to add additional days to the hotel stay in Rome at either end of your trip. This may effect your airport pick up and drop off transfers but you can contact TrovaTrip to discuss this and how to add in additional days at the hotel by reaching out to them at hi@trovatrip.com

Do you have any restaurant recommendations for meals during our free time?

Absolutely! Here are a few of my favorites:

Osteria Dal 1931, Trattoria Dal Cordaro, Li’ar Monte, A’Marenna, SupplÌ Roma, Osteria da Fortunata, Antico Forno Roscioli, Forno Campo de ‘Fiori.

Will I have free time to visit a museum or sight see on my own?

Yes! =) I made sure to plan at least one free afternoon+evening both in Rome & Florence so that you have a chance to go inside the colosseum, or get a tour of the Sistine Chapel, or walk the Boboli gardens in Florence, or just kick back and eat pistacchio gelato in a piazza and people watch!

What type of outlets do they use in Italy?

The most common wall sockets in Italy are the EU standard plug type C, F but you may also find type L. I would recommend purchasing an all-in-one adapter that works all around the world, this would be suitable for all Italian wall socket types.

What do I need to bring?

Is there a limit on how much I can pack?

As we will be using shared transfers and spaces throughout our tour we recommend all travelers pack as lightly as possible. All Travelers are allowed to bring one large piece of luggage (not exceeding 50lbs (23kg) in weight, with the dimensions 30” x 18” x 10”), one small carry-on (12”x11”x6), and a personal item.

Do I need to participate in all the activities?

Not at all, while you will be able to participate in all the activities listed on your trip, we understand sometimes you may want to do your own thing.
