River Cruise FAQ
Everything you need to know about our custom AmaWaterways vintage river cruise experience.
1. How much does the cruise cost?

2. What is included in the price?

3. Is there a single supplement for solo travelers?
All cabins onboard are designed for double occupancy. Because this is a fully chartered custom experience, pricing has been structured around double occupancy accommodations. Solo travelers who would like a private cabin will need to reserve both spots within the room.
4. What are the cruise dates?
The cruise will take place August 21–28, 2027. Optional pre-cruise and post-cruise extensions will also be available in Amsterdam before the cruise and Basel/Zurich following the cruise.
5. How many days is the cruise?
This is an 8-day, 7-night river cruise aboard the AmaSofia, privately chartered through AmaWaterways.
6. Are flights included?
No, international and domestic flights are not included in the cruise package.
7. Is this cruise only for resellers?
Not at all. While we’ve created custom flea market and antique shopping excursions for this charter, the cruise is designed for anyone who loves vintage, antiques, thrifting, European markets, and cultural travel experiences. Guests will also have access to AmaWaterways’ standard excursions, along with free time to explore each destination independently.
8. What is the minimum age for the trip?
Guests must be at least 18 years old to join this experience.
9. Where can I book this trip?
This is a fully customized private charter experience and can only be booked through our official booking links. The cruise will not be available through the standard AmaWaterways website or through third-party travel booking platforms.
10. When does booking open?
Booking officially opens on Sunday, May 17 at 4:00 PM Pacific Time.
